Water Works
West Coast photographer Brian Cyr captures images around, in, on and about water. A theme throughout and the one reason he’s settled in Vancouver. The ocean has a strong draw, especially the west coast of Vancouver Island, near Tofino. Imagery that captivates the soul and captures nature in both it’s raw power and it’s sublime beauty.
Brian’s passion for photography is reflected in the water scenes depicted on the following pages. Like the images and their mirror-like reflections, Brian reflects on Man and his impact on nature. He tries to depict man immersed in, and complimentary to his environment as opposed to dictatorial - which will only destroy the sublime when the symbiosis is lost.
